With over 30 years in agricultural research, Dr. Bill Berzonsky is no stranger to innovation. Having a PhD in genetics and plant breeding, Bill built his career improving wheat genetics in both public and private sectors. Recognized as a “Crop Expert” and innovator in his previous role at BASF and equipped with deep technical expertise in seed threshing, sorting, and imaging, Bill founded AgSolaire to bring research-grade tools—and renewable energy—to crop research programs and farms. He’s also a graduate of entrepreneurship programs like the UNL I-Corps Workshop and Doane’s “Go for Launch,” fueling AgSolaire’s growth from idea to impact.
